Okay, let's stipulate that both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's supporters are for the most part passionate. And sometimes our passion gets a head of us.
But something has happened recently that has made me question if the Republicans aren't gaming us in more than just the primaries. The rhetoric from "Supporters" has become so heated, so uncompromising, so, so, over the top that I think WE'RE BEING GAMED!
I fully believe that our blogs are being gamed by the Republicans. It is the only thing that makes sense with the ramped up, unreasonable vitriol that's only purpose is to divide . . .
and conquer.
Though I have no abosulte proof (anyone can call themselves anything on blogs) I believe Republicans are gaming our blogs pretending to be Hillary supporters saying the most obnoxious, insulting and divisive things to Obama supporters. OR pretending to be Obama supporters saying the most obnoxious, insulting and divisive things to Hillary supporters - so no matter who our nominee is 1/2 of the party will be so disgusted they won’t come out to vote.
They've done the some thing like this thing before with robo calling. They pretend to be the democratic candidate calling a voter registered as a Democrat. When the voter hangs up in the middle of the call, the computer redials, and continues to call, annoying the voter so much that they don't vote. (Would you vote for someone who annoyed you?)
Or they will do their version of Tokyo Rose, concern trolling or gleefully telling progressive blog readers that the Democratic* party is falling apart. Dispiriting is a tool that works, too.
It is not hard to connect the dots and see how they could and would exploit a little primary season strife.
This is psy-ops.
Don’t bite, don’t play. . .
and encourage others to ignore them too on this and every progressive blog.
It's up to us.

(*The use of "Democrat party" instead of "Democratic party" is not a sure indicator that it's a Republican dressing up as a Democrat. I've heard elected southern local and state Demcoratic officals use the term.)
If you will not vote for the Democratic nominee, no matter who that is, go apologize to the youth of this nation. You've helped put in "100 years of war, no reproductive choice McCain."
Updated: to change "Our" to "Are" in the title. Sorry, as a dyslexic that homophone is one of my big catch-ups.
