I supported you, John, and then you were gone. But one candidate remained committed to change, as you were. Who appeals to the best in us, as you did.
Here are your words from your website:
"I began my presidential campaign here to remind the country that we, as citizens and as a government, have a moral responsibility to each other, and what we do together matters. We must do better, if we want to live up to the great promise of this country that we all love so much."
Speaking of moral responsibilities. . .
We need you to support Obama. Now.
Bill Richardson did it. He recognizes that Obama is a "once-in-a-lifetime leader." And you know that too, don't you?
You spoke against politics as usual, the kind HRC practices. You refrained from trying to damage a fellow democrat, as HRC does. It's time for you to stand up against the low tactics her campaign employs.
But you don't have to say anything about HRC.
All it would take is a positive endorsement of Barack Obama. Talk about what he can do for us, just as you would have done, not about Hillary's shortcomings. No need for that. And I'll vote for her if she's the nominee.
Just join Obama on the high road to recovery for America.
It's time.
