Fitness Monday is a weekly diary series dedicated to well fitness.
I am not a nutritionist or a personal trainer just someone who enjoys exercising.
The best way to get fit is start exercising or exercise more then you previously did. Just put one foot in front of the other and get going.
There are all of these fad diets, diet pills and 7 minutes workout routines that promise to make you healthier. There is only one way to lose weight and get healthier, eat less calories then your body uses. The best way to do that is to control what you eat and exercise more.
Don't diet - dieting is inherently temporary. You need to change the way you eat permanently in order to lose weight.
Eat Healthier- The average American diet is filled with junk. Artificial sweeteners in particular are generally designed to make you thirstier. That is why drinking soda is counter-productive.
Drink more water- this bears repeating. Drink more water.
Increase exercising in your daily life - The easiest way to increase exercising if to park further away from your office or just in general. There are other small things you can do that can help. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk Quicker. Little things can add up to big changes.
Reduce Stress - it is very common for people (like myself) to deal with stress by eating, and that generally means eating junk. Most food that is available outside of normal eating time is horrible for you, avoid them
and it will help.
Keep up the good work. Exercise on!
