I look at the democratic party, and by all rights, this should be a very easy election to win. So why is it that we are scratching our heads, wondering if we can somehow snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?
It's time to re-evaluate our strategy.
Its time that we understand the conservative mind set. The fact is, conservatives want to blame other people for their problems. This has been the brilliance of Neo-Conservatism.
Limbaugh has been demonizing the libs for years now. It's second nature to blame the dems for all the evils of the world. Listen to Glenn Beck. Everytime he talks about health care, he plays the Russian National Anthem.
And Liberals think for some silly reason that they can intellectualize their way through this. Thats rubbish, thats just going to give conservatives another reason to hate liberals. They'll just call them arrogant ivy leaguers.
If we want to take on the conservative platform, stop thinking so much. Conservatives hate the government, and yes, they hate the republican government as much as they hate the Democrats.
So its time to use the very tactics of neo-conservatism against the republicans. Turn on the broken record, and tell everybody that Fox is betraying America, that Hannity is an american hater, that McCain suffers from delusions due to his PTSD, that the Republicans have deliberately devalued the US currency, and whatever other attack you can think of to undermine republican loyalty to America.
I need to re-emphasize that. We need to undermine the image of Republican loyalty to America. If we argue in concepts of right and wrong, we will be labled as American haters. To avoid this, every attack needs to be made so as to question the loyalty of Republicans to our government. That has always been a critical component of neo-conservatism. So we have to take that weapon away.
And please, Clinton and Obama stop fighting each other, and start mudslinging the real enemy.
