Seeing Barack Obama for the first time is, you would think, something you would never forget.
So I have the unenviable position tonight in being able to say: I don't know if I saw Barack Obama today. Oh, he was less than ten yards away from me at our closest. But I don't know if I saw him and I couldn't be sure if he saw me.
You will have to watch the video to find out how this is possible... and it was very windy, so apologies for the poor sound quality.
I do know one person from work that managed to get tickets, and the day off (this video was made possible because I managed to find parking after work and had my camera on me). Tim, the man on the scene, even called another one of my colleagues today and said two things to him. One: he was in the Dunmore Community Center, just three blocks away from East Scranton ...and two, would he consider voting for Obama on the 22nd.
Nice move, Tim!
