Al Gore's rhythm continues to sway people towards solving two major crisises facing us, in our world today. This was presented as an inspiring talk by Al Gore at TED conference (Technology, Entertainment, Design).
Al Gore speaking:
"In order to solve the climate crisis, we have to solve the democracy crisis."

Since the 2000 election, Al Gore has been extremely diligent studying, organizing, teaching, and speaking on the subject of climate change. He mentions in the talk above, that the Arctic circle is melting much faster than previously estimated. It possibly could be ice free, during the summer, in as little as five years time. Aside from the fear of rising waters, we'll have the melting of the Permafrost in Alaska, Canada, Siberia, Greenland, and northern China. Which will release massive amounts of methane gas because of the presence of organic matter that has been preserved in a frozen state for ages. The Permafrost melting will allow the process of decomposition to proceed, adding fuel to the Global Warming Fire.
Here's a list of other possible results of global warming:
Carbon in the atmosphere soaked up by the oceans creating carbolic acid and acidifying the ocean. Acid causing destruction of the coral reefs which are the nursery of the oceans.
The destruction of the habitat of Artic creatures, possibly resulting in extinction.
Wild weather all over the planet.
An imbalance of salinity in the oceans from the fresh water melt off, possibly creating a change in the natural currents of the oceans.
There's a company, chaired by Al Gore: Generation Investment Management that was founded in 2004, whose mission is:
* Deliver superior investment performance by taking a long-term investment view and integrating sustainability research within a rigorous fundamental equity analysis framework
* Create long-term client partnerships by delivering unique investment insights and exceptional client service
* Attract, retain and develop the best professionals within a passionate investment culture through a commitment to Our Values
Barack Obama says that if he is elected president he will call on Al Gore to head the climate crisis issues, which at present fall well down the list of priorities of the current administration.
"I would," Obama said. "Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem. He's somebody I talk to on a regular basis. I'm already consulting with him in terms of these issues, but climate change is real. It is something we have to deal with now, not 10 years from now, not 20 years from now."
Will we start to move together to prevent global warming? or
