A lot of people would say its crazy, a war hero fails the Commander In Chief test?
Yes, just because you serve your country honorably it doesnt mean you are fit to lead it, if that was the case we would not have democratic elections every 4 years, the military would be ruling this country and someone like Petraeus, would be answering questions about the foreign policy of this country. But wait, that is exactly what is happening, he is answering questions his boss George W Bush should be answering, and defending a failed policy he did not create.
Dont get me started on Bush...
Anyways not to get side tracked, I will now tell you why John McCain is ALSO not fit to lead this country.
If John McCain ever faced a Commander In Chief test he would fail and fail misserably, here is why:
The most basic rule in the military art of war is to know your enemy
As Sun Tzu, an ancient Chinese warrior, who wrote The Art of War once said:
"Know your enemy and know yourself and you can fight a thousand battles without disaster"
John McCain has been "confused" as to who our enemy is on several occasions. Now, this could be easily blamed on his old age, which makes it something very troubling, as it impairs his ability to think clearly and its something he clearly cannot avoid.
There is also the possibility he just doesnt care who our enemy is and that is why he is not able to keep up with easy distinctions like the difference between shiite and sunni.
Either possibility impairs John McCains ability to make the right decision at the right time (would you trust him NOT to press that nuclear button given the chance? I dont), which in turn defeats anyones argument that he is the best qualified candidate to be Commander In Chief.
Here is McCain showing why he is not fit to be Commander In Chief:
MoveOn.org ad against McCain: "Bomb Iran" song
McCain in Jordan says Iran (shiite) is training Alqaeda (sunni)
McCain Wrong on Iraq Basra Ceasefire (Maliki asked for it)
McCain in Petraeus hearing calls al Qaeda (sunni) "an obscure sect of the Shiites"
