I am a fan of funny. However, sadly, the things I find funny are often funny to me because they are so blatantly offensive that I can not believe I am actually hearing them. (I'm a big fan of South Park, Stangers with Candy, and many other shows that had or have no business being watched in mixed company.
That being said, I am posting what I found to be the most offensive, yet humorous (to me at least) things I have found being said about the candidates.
For the easily offended, don't bother to go below the fold....
Easly the most offensive thing I have heard this campaign season about one of the candidates was from the Comedy Central show "Li'l Bush" (a cartoon about he Bush Administration when they were children that is generally not as funny as it should be). This line struck me as so absolutely wrong and purely offensive that I laughed for about 10 minutes....
The same joke also appeared in the Onion in their March 19, 2008 edition, so I'm not sure who to credit it to properly.
On McCain, the funniest stuff I have seen all relates to his age...
Someone posted this link in a discussion thread about the candidate's health care policies.
Tracy Morgan's SNL op-ed piece on Hillary summed her phone call attack campaign up nicely....
Without Bill, Hillary would be just another old white woman with too much money and not enough lovin'. I know women like that, and trust me, you DO NOT want to be on the phone with them at three in the morning.
Basically, this is just a time killer diary, hopefully a better way than spending a slow news day talking about who is bitter. If you have heard something funny about the candidates, please let me in on the joke.
Thanks.
