CBS News is reporting that Hillary Clinton cut her customary hour-long stump speech to five minutes when a crowd of Philly Democrats declined to pay her any mind.
Hillary Clinton was forced to cut her normal stump speech short when a chatty and meddlesome crowd kept her from grasping their attention. Clinton, who was addressing the Philadelphia County Democratic Party's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, spoke for just over five minutes, despite having the press arrive almost two hours beforehand.
Hillary's campaign denied she got the hook and the CBS reporter delicately declined to conclude that the partisan crowd's disdain was evidence of more distaste for her attacks on Obama.
"Whether or not Clinton’s reception at the dinner had anything to do with her recent attacks on Barack Obama remains unclear," the online report said, while noting pointedly that "Clinton has never delivered a formal speech in such a short amount of time."

ABC News notes that Obama spoke to the same chatty crowd, following Clinton and directly addressing the "bitterness" issue, and managed 25 minutes to a more attentive reception:
Obama spoke to a rowdy crowd for 25 minutes – there was a roar of ambient discussion going on while the Senator spoke but most people paid attention and some stood on chairs to see the Senator speak. By comparison, Senator Clinton, who spoke to the same group before Senator Obama, delivered her shortest campaign speech yet, speaking for less than 5 minutes.
