I do. I know what you did. I know because I literally just took an hour and went through every last comment in my diary of last night. And I'm going to TELL YOU what you did - each of you.
So go on. Click the link.
Yep. I read through every single one of the 754 comments in my "Pony Up" diary. Many people self-reported how much they had donated to Barack Obama following the results from PA last night. Where indicated with a specific amount, I added that amount to a spreadsheet. If a comment indicated that a person had given but did not specify in what amount, I erred on the low side and counted that as $10.00.
Before I give you the specifics, I want to highlight just a few of the many comments in that diary. I'm including the diarist's name because this is TOTALLY intended to be complimentary.
I've made 3000 calls for Barack Obama (10+ / 0-)
And raised $1500 for his campaign
I did visibility on super tuesday
And flyered alone at my University the day before
I've written to about 100 superdelegates
Organized a few mail bombs and boycotts
Was one of the first "Hussein's"
Keep the Barack board filled with news from the Kos
And I'm going to convert 5 Hillary Clinton supporters this week because of her statements on Iran.
Will you donate in my honor as well please?

Indeed. Some things are every bit as valuable as cash if not more so.

I gave what I could... (11+ / 0-)
I just gave $25. I've got $15 in my checking account to last me a week. I guess I won't be going out for the next week.

Broke my donating cherry! (19+ / 0-)
Donated for the first time to his campaign just now... first time to ANY campaign. It was only $10, since I'm a student and pretty much living in constant fear of this rent check or that energy bill overdrawing my account... but it's something.
I just can't let this happen. He has to win.
Can you smell what Barack is cooking?!

I kicked down another $5 (9+ / 0-)
I think so far I have donated about a hundred bucks to Obama. All of it's been in donations of $25 or less. That's 2/3 of a month's money total. It's been money I haven't regretted kicking in.
I hate to see what my phone bill looks like this month, but that's money well spent, too, and with Working Assets, some of it's going to progressive causes.

I wish I could give more but I'm a recent college grad who hasn't found a job yet.

unemployed and deep in debt ('samurkin dream, y'all) but another 20.08 on the old smokin' credit card is a small price to pay for putting a hand on that gate with a million others...

tipped and donated... (7+ / 0-)

Each of those comments above - I don't have the words to express, to those I extracted as well as the many, many more like them in the diary thread, how humbled I am (literally) by your donations. You dug deep, and I'm sure you gave up something to make that donation happen. In large part, it's people like you, who have the faith and keep it, that keep me going and renew my optimism. You give a view of a thriving, fair, bountiful America, and I thank you deeply.
don't get my check for another 10 days... (40+ / 0-)
shitshitshitshitshitshitshit......
I will, when I can. And when my income tax comes in, I will donate a little more.
I'm sorry Barack.

I saw a LOT of comments like the one above, where a user apologized for not being able to do more on the spot. Don't. You and me and all of us are what the campaign is about, and we all give in our own way.
And finally, check out THESE amazing and remarkable "I'll match for recs" threads:
OK, tell you what. (613+ / 0-)
For every rec this comment receives, I donate a dollar to Obama.

(Hat-tip to Elise for pointing me to the comment by Morgan Sandlin)
THAT - ALL of it - the "wish I could donate" comments and the "I donated but not much" comments and the "I donated" comments to the remarkable HAYUUUGE "I'll match recs!" donation comments - is amazing.
And that's why, although disappointing, PA doesn't matter. Not really. Would have been nice to put it away last night, but you can't beat what went on in that diary. THAT is why Obama is going to win this whole thing.
People-powered politics indeed.
Oh hey - I forgot! The total?? $13,215.18. Average donation of $52.65. I should add also that that $13K estimate is LOW. There are already folks in the comments pointing out that they donated but didn't comment due to the volume of comments in the diary itself, and somehow I'm sure that some of those unspecified amounts that I counted as $10 were, in fact, over $10. WAY TO GO DAILY KOS COMMUNITY!!! Big Back-Pat.
[UPDATED] New total and average, folks! I'm updating this periodically as additional people chime in. If you indicated in a comment that you gave an amount AND I have recommended that comment, you ARE reflected in the updated total! For clarity, I am adding the folks who chimed in here that they gave but didn't comment because of the voluminous size of the diary itself. I have also added a match that I had overlooked, and updated other matches to reflect SIGNIFICANT upticks in the mojo-donattion-smackdown-winefest. Ready for it? $23,213.23 with an average donation of $63.77!! Holy shit!! And that will be my last update for tonight. I'm sleepy. :)
[UPDATED] Hey - check out poblano's latest diary!
Diarist's important endnote: I want to apologize to those who were offended by my use of the word "bitch" in the title. I think it would have gone down with less distaste had I used "beeyotch", though I can't be sure of that. in any event, it was meant humorously, was not intended to by misogynistic (should have seen that before I posted it, but I was really tired - my only weak defense). Your point is taken and was not lost on me, and I'm sorry I didn't see it in time to change it while it would have still had some effect.
