A "Hillraiser" for Hillary Clinton announced tonight that he is moving over to the Barack Obama Camp!
Gabriel Guerra-Mondragon, ambassador to Chile under Bill Clinton, and fundraiser of nearly half a million dollars for Hillary Clinton, announced that he is now supporting Barack Obama.
The way he sees it,
"I just don't see how Senator Clinton can overcome Senator Obama with delegates and popular votes."
Campaign spokesperson Jay Carson tried to deny the impact, claiming the primary battle is good for everyone. However, when key fundraisers can see "We're just bleeding each other out" (meaning money or reputation or both?), who can believe what Clinton supporters have to say?
If Hillary Clinton cannot even retain her own dedicated fundraisers, why should the rest of the superdelegates continue to support this farce?
As hard as they try to portray Pennsylvania as a "win," the Clinton campaign didn't do as well as Obama in areas with heavy independent or cross-over voters http://www.dailykos.com/...
controlling for race, income, and age, Obama performed better in central Pennsylvania than he did in Ohio351
and
[C]entral Pennsylvania is the most Republican part of the state. We have found again and again in this primary season that, outside of the South, white Democrats in heavily Republican areas tend to prefer Obama more than other areas.
The tide is turning. She cannot keep her own fundraisers. The super delegates must decide. Democrats who can see the facts will end this continued wasteful consumption of money soon. Let's use our money against the Republicans and John McBush, not each other.

(Apologia: Sorry, I have had a long hard day, but this way big news to me. I'm running off to bed instead of tending to my comment garden. Please forgive me. But celebrate the news!)
UPDATE: I see (belatedly - too tired) this was covered MUCH BETTER By Steven R here: http://www.dailykos.com/...
Maybe folks didn't see this as big as I do. A major Hispanic supporter - one of Hillary's supposedly key demographics - defects to the Obama camp. Even though he's been raising money for her, he thinks Obama will win and the infighting should STOP. If everyone says "take it down", I will in the morning. But, I think this is big news and I hadn't seen in in spite of being on DailyKOS and news websites most of the day.
