Hillary is living up to the Jason Voorhees comparisons today.
She resembles the Jason of the later Friday the 13th films, wherein he possessed superhuman strength and near invulnerability.
From the LA Times:
"For most of the year, June 3 beckoned as the end of an exhausting nominating calendar, the date that the final states hold primaries to choose between Clinton and Obama."
"But now, Clinton is preparing to push the contest beyond the voting phase of the contest and into the realm of committee meetings and credentialing rules, where her campaign believes she may have a chance to overtake Obama before the party's nominating convention in August."
And Maureen Dowd warns:
"Hillary may be down, but she's certainly not out."
"The Hillaryites will try, at a May 31 meeting of the Democratic Rules and Bylaws Committee, to renege on their word and try to get the Michigan and Florida seated.
She adds:
"Fox News reports that The Clintons are planning a summer campaign with TV appearances, fliers and rallies, between the end of the primary and the convention, to drag back superdelegates trying to flock to Obama."
I'm reminded of Christina Crawford saying that when Joan Crawford died, she had to go see the body to assure herself that Joan really was dead.
