Then I took the poll and cried.

Of 1589 people that voted in the poll, 453 will make calls. I cried for those that will not get a phone call and will continue to live with the misinformation disseminated in the media. We say that we want to make a difference but are only willing to extend ourselves as far as our one vote.
I have and will make calls, but the pain and sadness came when I realized how many of you take the time to bitch and moan about what's wrong with America and the rest of the world, but when given the opportunity to make a difference, shrink from the responsibility.
171 don't have time to call, but made time to read and comment on the Daily Kos. Wake up 5 minutes earlier in the morning and make it happen, WV is 3 hours ahead. The numbers are on Obama's website. The people on the other end cannot see you, won’t come after you, what is there to lose...besides the election to republicans?
Those that will not call are doing a disservice to the good people of WV because we know where they received their information, why and how they formed their opinions.
Thanks to Eve, a little time and a few good conversations created enlightenment on both sides of the relationship. That is the perfect union. We can be moved by Sen. Obama's words but unless each one of us is willing to exit our comfort zones to make that life happen...it’s all a dream.
Eve went above and beyond by collecting the numbers for the WV lady. That's what happens when someone touches your life and you truly care to make a difference. During those phone calls, Eve was a public servant answering a calling from a higher power, her conscience.
Welcome to campaign Obama. Change you can believe in. Now get off your asses!
