I'd really like to see HRC not give up so quickly. Quite possibly yes she is done in the Democratic selection process but there's no reason she couldn't run as an independent. It's already well known that she could beat McCain in November if it was head-to-head. Now that that's probably not going to happen, it's time to consider another strategy.
I am probably one of the last people in this country to believe the mainstream media (no FoxNews is not mainstream) is generally and largely unbiased (not completely entirely I realize) but let's be honest Obama kool-aid drinkers... if the media had really worked harder on bringing facts about Obama to the public sooner like they were supposed to, there is no way he would be leading the nomination process now.
If HRC was to open up a three way race she would easily win against the inept McCain and inexperienced Obama. Other than the "change" mantra, Obama has no solutions. It's very plain now that Obama's past miscalculations have cost him his credibility. Why is it now when it's politically correct, does Obama throw Rev. Wright under the bus? Obama now appears to be a politician like the rest -- I think he'll say anything and do anything to get elected. On the other side of the trio you have an old and feeble McCain. Despite claims of being a "maverick" you are getting a tow-the-line republican and more of the same Bush policies that so many of us are very sick of. Unfortunately though, if the head to head matchup of Obama and McCain goes on, McCain wins easily. Obama will not carry a single southern state. Mark well these words. HE WILL NOT CARRY A SINGLE SOUTHERN STATE.
I wonder if this prospect bothers any of you people who are Democrats first and progressives second. Would that bother any of you if your President is a progressive and an independent? Are you going to denounce HRC like many of you did to Cindy Sheehan if she takes a principled stand? I'd like to think not but many of you are now turning on HRC like you did to Sheehan, Nader and to an extent, Howard Dean.
