Take Note Grand Media: Clinton definitely has a NW Problem giving McCain toss up potential in very white states with 18 electoral votes, while Obama carries these two states handily.
Why do White People in the Western Triangle Not Like Hillary? Probably because they understand that Clinton is political trouble downticket.
"She's carrying huge negatives out here," said Floyd Ciruli, an independent Colorado pollster who said Democratic congressional candidates would have to highlight their differences with the national party to be successful next year. "It's that liberal East Coast image that is so hard to sell in the West."
One key advisor to a prominent Democratic congressional candidate, who asked not be to identified discussing tensions within the party, went even further. "It's a disaster for Western Democrats," he said. "It keeps me up at night."
PS: I want to add that Oregon is not an Elite, Rich state on the coast, as some in the Media may suppose. Reviewing the Census Economic data, one will quickly see that Oregon is very middle class. Median Household Income is $46,230 in line with the National Average of $48,451.
UPDATE: New Poll shows even stronger lead.
The U.S. senator from Illinois leads Hillary Clinton by a commanding 55 percent to 35 percent margin among likely Democratic voters, and even leads among women voters who ordinarily tilt toward Clinton, said Tim Hibbitts of Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall.
Clinton enjoys the sympathies of more Democratic voters over 55, the poll showed. But Obama is crushing her among voters 18 to 34 and 35 to 54. In both age groups, Obama leads by more than 2-to-1, according to poll results.
“Right now Obama’s winning across the board,” Hibbitts said. “He’s winning by 11 points among women; He’s leading by 30 points among men.”
Obama’s reputation among Democratic voters aged 18 to 34 is off the charts. Among that group, a whopping 86 percent said they held favorable views of Obama, versus only 1 percent who said they had unfavorable views. In comparison, 68 percent of those voters had favorable views about Clinton, versus 13 percent with unfavorable views.
Watching the Coverage tonight, I'm not surprised they're ignoring Obama's coming victory in Oregon... the story for the week will be Does Obama have a White Voter Problem.
Thank God for Oregon! Bless Your State, you will answer the media Narrative and blow it out the water.
