I am convinced that by tomorrow night's evening news, the Obama campaign will have announced a number of new superdelegates. Plus I heard one of the folks on MSNBC say that his campaign will release his April fundraising numbers which are supposedly sizable. We all know, except the delusional, that Barack Obama will be our nominee.
He will probably wrap up the nomination by June 3rd by accumulating elected delegates (Oregon, some in KY, Montana, SD and some in Puerto Rico) and by getting a majority of the Superdelegates. He got well over 20 superdelegates in the past week.
I was interested in the Obama candidacy starting with his exploratory committee (I donated $15) and got more interested and involved since. It really is an amazing story how a first-term senator named Barack Obama, who is African-American, beat the Clinton Machine. Sure, the Clintons made a bunch of mistakes including their strategy but still!
It's been a long, tiring primary and although it hasn't officially ended, it will soon. So even after his big loss in the small state of West Virginia (which in the General Election gets only 5 electoral votes), I have a question for y'all....
