MSNBC reporting that Edwards is endorsing Obama.
The AP Story here.
Per Marc Ambinder and Mark Halperin, John Edwards is on a plane flying to Michigan right now.
Ambinder even links to the FAA tracking site for this plane.
In case any one is following along at home, here's the map from the airport to the arena where Obama and Edwards will appear on stage together.
UPDATE (2:53 PDT): Another new superdelegate announced. Details below.
UPDATE (3:10 PDT): Also tonight: a special comment by Keith O. (Subject unknown.)
In other superdelegate news...
SuperD Watch: Oklahoma's State Senate President Pro Tempore
He's a superdelegate, and he's endorsed Barack Obama.
Please consider this as an open superdelegate thread...
His name is Mike Morgan.
UPDATED:
Ben Smith reports one more Superdelegate:
A WI super for Obama
It's Wisconsin State Senator Lena Taylor.
Already today, we've had three other superdelegates for Obama:
Rep. Pete Visclosky of Indiana
College Democrats of America Lauren Wolfe and Awais Khaleel (Lauren is from Michigan, so her vote does not count until Michigan's delegates are resolved.)
Democrats Abroad Chair Christine Marques (1/2 vote)
So far, this makes +3.5 for Obama today and +1 for Clinton.
I have to assume that after Edwards's endorsement, there won't be any more Supers announced today, so as not to get overshadowed by Edwards.
UPDATE:
As an aside, in the comments below, MomDem recommends helping defend NARAL and their endorsement of Obama on their blog. They are getting swamped with anti-Obama comments.
