As many of you already know, I voted for Clinton in the CA primaries. I voted for her because I believed she would make a good president. I think she's smart, driven, and a hard worker. Lord knows Bush was none of the above. I also thought she was the only one willing to tackle the healthcare fiasco. Sure, her plan was imperfect, but it was more than anyone else had dared to put on the table. But I digress.

At this point, the odds of her getting the nomination is zero, in my opinion. So I am prepared to vote for Obama.
I'm voting for him not because I believe in change. Perhaps I'm too old and cynical to believe one person can change the way politics is done. I am too cynical to believe he can single-handedly unseat the power of the lobbyists on our Congress. I'm too cynical to believe he can bridge the partisan divide.
So why am I voting for him? Because he has a Big D next to his name.
I would like to vote for him more enthusiastically. I ask the members of this community to help me get more excited. I spend hours here everyday, and yet weeks can go by before I see an Obama supporter saying something positive about him that motivates me. I find that a lot of his supporters share hatred of Clinton, or at times, Clintons, more than they share admiration for Obama. Perhaps that is not the case, but it is the impression I get. The impression should not come as a surprise to any kossack, since there are more diaries about how horrible she is, than there are of all other topics combined.
So if you met a Clinton supporter, how would you get him/her excited?
