A few weeks ago I decided to stop writing about this democratic primary.
I had come to the realization that Obama was going to be the nominee and felt there was nothing I could add to the conversation anymore.
But in view of what Hillary did today I have decided to be silent no more (at least for today only)
JUMP
I never supported Hillary Clinton.
My feeling was that the real Hillary was hidden behind a well-constructed mask, which had been in place for a very, very, long time.
There was something about her demeanor that did not impress me. Her smile never reached her eyes, her gestures seemed orchestrated, her wardrobe of the constant-wearing pantsuit struck me as a type of wall constructed to keep people out. Her choice to wear pantsuits did not allow for one to see her as a woman. She appeared to have something to hide. This bothered me. I felt that she was afraid to show her softness and her femininity.
When she cried in NH I saw it for what it was. She was manipulating the electorate to get a desired result. Right after she cried in the next sentence she attacked Obama. I shook my head and walked away cause I knew what she was doing.
I started writing about what i was seeing on Kos after NC. I felt that Hillary Clinton was slicing and dicing the electorate to achieve her goal. She needed to be President and she was going to stop at nothing.
But when I wrote about it and what I was seeing on Kos I was accused of being a troll and told I should leave this site.
I kept on writing though because I needed to say how I felt and to share what I was seeing. Many here did not want to believe what they were seeing and continued to excuse her behavior even as others started to speak out about what they were seeing in Hillary.
Tonight Keith O did an excellent job of showing Hillary's distructive pattern of behavior in his special comment.
NOw I ask. When is the democratic party going to stop apologizing and excusing this woman's psychotic behavior? Her suppporters should now intervene, leaders such as Pelosi, Gore, Elizabeth Edwards, Finestein and others should intervene. How can we as a party allow this woman to implode in such a public way and take all of us with her?
What about Obama? Has he not taken enough of the abuse? Has he not shown great character, integrity, honor, courage and class in light of all the divisive crap that has been thrown down to block his path. Doesn't he deserve a break to enjoy his achievment? Why should he be taking care of this woman who is way more experienced than he is? What about his family? His wife? His girls? How are they really feeling tonight in the light of these atrocious and unforgivable comments?
WHY HAS THIS PARTY AS A WHOLE NOT PROTECTED HIM AND HIS by coalesing around him and his as the person who played by the rules and won by those same rules? He did most things right in light of his relative newness to this whole deal. He is carrying alot on his shoulders right now. Where are the leaders of this party? Why are they leaving him out there to stand alone in the face of this scorched earth campaign by Hillary?
Now she is allowing it to go out there that she has/is thinking about assasination to take the nomination? She is sending a message to all the crazies out there to do make happen what they might have in their hearts. She is giving permission just by saying it from her lips.
For the past few days he has not been allowed to savour his winning most of the pledged delegates because he had to be gentle with her.
Why is it all about her? HOw is this type of behavior helping women?
PULEASSE FOR THE LUV OF GOD SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE INTERVENE AND TELL THIS WOMAN THE TRUTH!
If we really care about this party and about Senator Clinton we need to pull her off this stage in a very decisive fashion.
Hillary has said words do not mean anything. Maybe she is hoping we will feel she is right and allow her to get away with this offensive behavior. Will we?
And as far as VP position is concerned?
NO GO!
