Ran across this today.
From The Roswell Beacon, Roswell, Georgia

Linkey Badness
A Tinfoil Hat Tip to plezWorld.
A Roswell, Georgia newspaper is defending a controversial cover illustration that placed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama in a rifle's cross hairs. The Roswell Beacon is a free weekly rag that has a distribution of about 65,000 in the city of Roswell, which is just north of Atlanta, Georgia. The controversial front cover was published on May 15, 2008.
Words are failing me at the moment to convey the utter disgust and contempt I am feeling for these racist fucks.
If you wish you can go to plezworld(not linked to the Beacon) and read what he has to say about this.
WARNING!
The Roswell Beacon article is a chilling and quite disturbing expose' that takes place just north of Atlanta; one of the subjects openly discusses the assassination of Obama and the beginning of a race war if he is elected President.
I had dearly hoped the days of cross burning on Table Mountain just outside of Denver was a thing of the past, but I guess we have not made as much progress as I hoped.
Sheesh WTF?
Peace,
TFH
UPDATE:
I should have read the article:

From the Publisher:
We have been publishing the Beacon for a little over 18 months. We believe most of the time we get it right. Regarding our May 15th cover, we got it wrong.
As publisher of the Beacon, I am ultimately responsible. I am accountable.
On behalf of the Beacon, I sincerely apologize for offending anyone or any group by our May 15th cover. We are very distressed at having upset anyone, and we can understand how by just looking at the cover without having access to read the related story it was meant to depict is clearly offensive.
Unfortunately, the image on the cover overshadowed the seriousness of the story and that is regrettable. Again, we apologize to anyone or any group that was offended.
We understand how just by looking at the cover one can jump to conclusions, and we are very sorry for that.
I did jump to conclusions.
