Okay...I'm sure there are many more gifted diarists than me...so, if someone else would rather run with this topic, I'll withdraw.
But...this point needs to be made "Crystal Clear".
Superdelegates needs to decide NOW (as in by the end of this week).
btw - I'm a O'Bama contributor.
That said...I don't care WHO you endorse.
But you HAVE TO endorse.
PICK A SIDE!
For the love of (insert noun)...MAKE...UP...YOUR...MIND!!!
The WHY after the jump.
I agree with KOS that one benefit of this long primary season has been a wonderful discovery of our nation's various regions, and for me, learning all of the history behind our current system. Before this contest got so contested, who knew that the party big-wigs decided to install the 'SuperDelegate System' between the '80 & '84 elections?
But given that this process is nearly 2 decades old, anyone WHO IS a SuperDelegate has no standing saying they didn't know what their job is.
THEY are given the responsibility, by the party, to have a 'say' in a close election. And it's not an opportunity; it's a responsibility.
The job of a SuperDelegate is TO DECIDE on a candidate.
So SD's...DECIDE!
I don't care who you pick, but MAKE A CHOICE and MAKE IT QUICK!
You guys are dragging this process out.
We cannot have a 'winner' until YOU decide.
So MAKE UP YOUR FRICKIN' MIND!
