Anyone who has access to an ear in the Clinton campaign must get this message through.
Hilary Rosen, a key Clinton supporter I have not often agreed with on anything, ever, made this plea today and I'm with her now; all is forgiven. She is now my friend.
Hillary Clinton needs to hear this message, over and over again, from her friends, TODAY.
I am not a bargaining chip; I am a Democrat.
Hillary Clinton needs to put her personal interests to the side, just a little bit, just for this single moment. She needs to think about what she has been fighting for all this time. Her real goals, what she really believes in. Not the process; not her own role as the sole and single fighter for those goals.
Clearly Obama is on record he will work with Senator Clinton to find a way to offer his help in advancing her interests. In virtually all ways her noble interests are his own, and the Democratic party's as well. Hillary will be well-treated and well-served by Barak Obama.
But right now we need to unite behind priority number one: to get the Democratic Party's campaign for the presidency off and running. The stakes are too high. The idea of losing this race, at this time, are too horrible to bear. We need to be united RIGHT NOW.
