Hello all Kossacks,
I've been selected to head to Ohio next week as an Obama Organizing Fellow. I can't wait to meet all the wonderful people excited as myself in getting Barack Obama elected as the next President of the United States! Follow me over the fold for a plea for help.
As a student I don't have much money but I am willing to dedicate 80/hrs per week during this six week period in Ohio to help in any way that I can. I have all the essentials I need for the trip accept a way to get to Ohio and a place to stay once I arrive there. Does anyone know of a car-pool going from the Los Angeles area to Ohio? Also does anybody know or would be willing to let me stay with them in Ohio during the Fellowship Program which starts on June 14th through the end of July? I have already joined the Yahoo/facebook groups for Obama fellows and posted my concern there but all the rides have already been taken. I should get a call this week from the Columbus office with further details and hope they have some way to get me there. Any Kossack advise and/or wisdom is most enthusiastically welcomed.
If you or someone you know can help me out with either the ride and/or housing please send me an email:

Thank you very much!

Update
Thank you to all that gave great suggestions and offered to house me during the Fellowship Program. I have been informed that housing will be taken care of, however I still do not have any transportation to Ohio. I checked prices on plane, rail and bus and the cheapest (bus) is still over $300 which I can't afford. I sure hope the campaign has some way to get us there!
Update II This time it's personal
Ok so my brother has been a HUGE help, not only did he buy me a new laptop just for this Fellowship Program he also purchased me a flight to Columbus. I can't possibly thank him enough! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. I'm so excited I can't believe it.
