I ended up missing the inagural Las Vegas YK in 2006.
Last summer I got my shit together and my company picked up the tab for YK 2007 in Chicago.
This year they've done it again and I already have my pass, hotel and plane tickets for Austin.
Follow me over the fold for a survey and some questions about what to do OUTSIDE this years NN convention ...
Last summer in Chicago I rented a bike and took a daily late afternoon / early evening ride along the amazing Chicago lakefront. I went swimming at a wonderful beach on the North side ... I was gawked at by some kids on a south side beach who said "Look at that white man". I tried to arrange an evening swim but got only a few late takers and had to cancel. This time around I was hoping to get some Kossacks out of the convention center for a some kind of field trip.
So Texas Kossacks please weigh in.
What can we do to break the air conditioned inside meeting'd-out feeling you get at conventions?
Can we rent bikes?
Where should we ride to?
Should we go to the hill country?
Are their places in or around Austin were we can take a dip in a lake?
What do you suggest?
