...not so much.
There's an interesting nugget in the Quinnipiac Florida Poll today regarding the Jewish vote. As we know, the rethugs have been pushing the meme that Obama has a "perceived" problem with Jewish voters. Heck, McCain spent 3 days in Florida earlier this month trying to raise doubts in the minds of Jewish leaders in the Sunshine State.
He may be a bit frustrated when someone breaks down this poll for him with crayons and pretty charts.
Although not broken out in the FL crosstabs, Poblano points out this morning an ominous sign:
If Florida is in play, then John McCain's defense is completely broken; it was the one traditional swing state that always had looked off-limits to Obama. More frustratingly for McCain, he had spent the better part of three days in Florida earlier this month, hoping to raise doubts about Obama among Jewish voters.
Here's the best part...
Although Quinnipiac does not break out the Jewish vote, Obama holds a 61-31 lead in Southeast Florida, where most of the state's Jewish population is concentrated.
61-31? Are you kidding me?
Not a good sign at all if McCain has to fiercely defend a state like Florida which a month ago was more than a lean. Although this is the first poll in Florida that Obama has EVER led, whether against Clinton or McCain, this has to have McCain insiders scratching their collective noggins.
