The quicker the main stream media realizes that fact, the faster they will get their credibility back. ABC News Senior National Correspondent Jake Tapper's blog is proving how BIASED Abc news really is, they continue to repeat the falsehood of Obama agreeing to public funds during the general election.
Some of the comments on his blog point to the fact that during the Ohio debate, Tim Russert stated Obama agreed to take public financing during the general as proof Obama flipflopped about his decision. In Fact, Tim Russert was the one that was wrong........the reason Russert did not play Obama saying what he claimed Obama said on tape is because the tape does not exist. When they read the quote from the infamous questionare, they ALWAYS leave out Obama's COMPLETE answer about the circumstances that have to be met in order for him to accept public funds during the general. Brian Williams did the same thing on "Meet the Press" this morning.
AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PRIMARIES, OBAMA FILED PAPERWORK WITH THE FEC AND WAS GRANTED PERMISSION BY THEM TO RAISE "PRIVATE" FUNDS FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION AND IF LATER HE DECIDED TO ACCEPT PUBLIC FUNDS HE WOULD BE ALLOWED TO RETURN THE GENERAL ELECTION FUNDS HE RAISED TO HIS DONORS.
At no time did he agree to public funds during the general, he has always stated his decision would be made after he won the nomination.
The media is refusing to state the truth about this matter.

by the way, McCain actually filed paperwork for public funds for the primary, then changed his mind and started raising private money.....then once he realized he couldnt raise the money he thought he could he changed his mind again only after Obama made his decision to reject government funds for his general election campaign
