I have a modest proposal based on the recent story about the 61-year old librarian who was cited for trespassing because she carried a McCAIN = BUSH sign. Shouldn't every public McCain rally have folks in attendance with such signs? After all, as she notes, why should Republicans who voted for Bush be ashamed of such a sign?
Were activists to show up at every McCain rally with McCAIN = BUSH signs, the McCain campaign would, of course, face two uncomfortable choices: allow the signs or get people arrested.
So here's a call for a flowering of McCAIN = BUSH signs over the next four months -- and video coverage to go with them. (And does anyone know where can we learn about the forthcoming public appearances of candidate McCain?)
