...
I keep hearing people say that Obama is a new breed of politician, and not just the same corrupt/divisive/partisan politician we have seen for decades... but I don't see him living up to the hype.
Obama is either allowing others to do his dirty work for him, or the partisan attacks on John McCain by blindly partisan commentators are part of his campaign plan to become the next President.
I see so many people who are obviously so biased that even the facts won't prevent them from telling any media outlet who will listen partisan talking points against McCain - and not one word from Obama for the smears/lies/attacks to stop.
Just as I was full of the "blame the Bush-McCain policies" for whatever issue the dems feel the public could get upset over... when these smear-masters couldn't wait to add Phil Gramm's name to the fear-mongering. (never mind that Gramm has been away from the Senate since 2002 - leaving little, if any, chance for him to have influenced any policy at all that could earn him blame for current matters)
John McCain has his flaws, but he has a much better record of reaching across party lines (and going against his own party quite often) in his career of policy making than Obama has done in his limited time as a Senator. Never mind that McCain and Obama worked together on legislation. Forget about how he & the current President battled at odds a few years ago.
All that matters to the biased party hacks supporting Obama is getting the lies said on TV & in print often enough in hopes that enough people will believe their propaganda... and Obama keeps quiet rather than condemn these people acting on his behalf that prove his campaign is nothing new.
And it's pathetic how these same pundits will defend the dems, no matter what happens.
Jesse Jackson gets caught saying what he really thinks, but the cultists of the liberal agenda find ways to spin his offensive comment and deny it matters... but these same people have a different standard when it comes to McCain's advisor as he made a public comment.
Jackson cowardly tried to attack Obama, yet that's ok... but when Gramm expresses his opinion (and he has more experience on the topic than all of the dem pundits combined) it's unforgivable.
And I love how the pundits twist how Gramm called Democrats a bunch of whiners into Gramm calling the American people that name. The public aren't the ones trying to promote the doom & gloom state of economy... it's elected officials of the Democrat party doing it (and doing it as a scare tactic aimed to win votes from voters dumb enough to fall for their rhetoric) - and anyone who can think for themselves (rather than have the liberal media & their partners in crime who work for the Dems speaking the lies) knows Gramm wasn't talking about the American people.
I hate when Fox NEWS does the same crap for the Republicans when an objective viewpoint is needed... but it's worse when a liberally biased network like NBC Universal gets away with influencing public opinion by claiming to be objective when actually forwarding the liberal agenda.
Tim Russert must be turning over in his grave by the way the people at NBC Universal (especially MSNBC) tarnish his reputation on a daily basis.
But why should they stop when Obama keeps quiet? His campaign is tainted by the way he allows others to act on his behalf in ways he claims to deem offensive. Some "change" he turns out to be... it's politics as usual for the Dems - Obama is looking more like the corrupt Clintons than ever.
So sad for the American public.
