Want to hear what the candidates are saying about net neutrality, privacy, or other topics, from their own mouths? Google has added a Google Elections Video Search gadget for iGoogle home pages, which searches the transcribed text of YouTube's Politicians channels for the keywords you enter.

My search for "DC voting rights" -- my pet issue -- turned up speeches by Obama (natch), Chris Dodd, and Bob Barr. Awesome. (What, no Hillary speeches? I guess that's why she could barely break 20% here in the DC primary).
This might be a useful tool for Kossians. Maybe everybody knows about it. I heard that John McCain has been using it for days, and has already hacked the code to write some scripts that improve upon it.
