In its main front-page-story today, the NY Times criticized Barack Obama for not taking on the chlorinated-chicken issue in his Berlin speech. I'm not joking -- it's right up front in the third paragraph, well above the fold in the print edition.
According to the Times, the fact that Senator Obama didn't mention this apparently-serious trade issue in his speech yesterday has left European governments and politicians "not so sure" about his qualifications to be President.
Can't you just picture 200,000 stunned Berliners as Obama lectures them on the benefits -- or maybe hazards, I don't know -- of chlorinating chickens? I'm definitely "not so sure" about the Times' qualifications to cover a Presidential election.
