I do not want to second guess the genius behind the Obama campaign, but I am growing weary of the strategy they are using.
McCain is running around framing the debate as if this election is a referendum on Obama. As if, Obama is the reason why people should vote for McCain.
Why isn't the Obama campaign push back on these things. Have you seen the new ad with Obama on a dollar bill? That's down right PATHETIC! They have to push back aggressively. They should use forceful adjectives like "gutter politics" and "slime ball." What's with this "low road" non-sense. That's just too weak!
Listen, I am a staunch Obama supporter! I am an Obama supporter as they come. I've been with the campaign from the first day and this campaign has touched me personally in many ways than one. The people I met while canvassing in 100 degree weather in Virginia or the people I phone bank to in rular Ohio were incredible. The stories I heard are very much my own. My own struggles. My own trials and tribulations.
The Obama campaign needs to make sure that all this effort did not go in vain. Hek, I dont want to loose this election. No one does, but I feel like the campaign is letting this narrative to build and before you know it, it'll become irreversible.
PLEASE remember what they did to Kerry!
I suggest Obama should do just say on his next stop
Did you guys listen to what the McCain camp is doing? Did you see the gutter politics they are playing? Have you noticed that the people who ran the Bush campaign are running the McCain camp? Have you noticed that they are xeroxing Rove's games?
I will not go down in the gutter with them. That's not where my country and my people are. They expect more honor from me. The issues are too great to play games.
Something along those lines will nullify anything that comes out of them.
