ANSWER: In the Barack-y Mountains!
!
Ok, now I guess I have to talk about real things in order to fill out this entry. It really bothers me when I see the McCain ads talking about how Barack Obama wants to raise "your" taxes. Obama's tax plan raises taxes only for people who makes over $600,000 a year. Here's my idea for a response ad:
All but the last ten seconds of the ad would have the same line, delivered over and over again: "Barack Obama will not raise my taxes" (maybe broken up by the occasional "Barack Obama will give me a bigger tax cut than McCain" or whatever). The ad would show people delivering this line at their places of employment, holding their kids in their arms, in their front yards with the family, walking down the street... it would show people who look like they work for minimum wage, and people who look like they make $500,000 a year... it would show at least one person for whom each American could say "That looks like me." Then, at the end of the ad, the voiceover would explain that Obama will cut taxes for most Americans, and only the very rich will have a tax raise. Maybe some sarcastic line like "McCain says Obama will raise your taxes? Who does John McCain think 'you' are?"
....The Barack-y Mountains! ha.
