George W. Bush has done a lot of things to upset me over the past eight years, and I mean A LOT of things. But I just learned about something he did in 2004 that tops them all. You see, I just learned this morning that George W. Bush actually, well, I'm so upset I can barely talk about it. Jump down, while I try to calm down.
OK, I'm calm now. I think I can get through this. I just learned that in 2004, when accepting the Republican Party's nomination for a second-term as President at the Republican convention, George W. Bush had the presumptous gall to...no, I just can't say it, but look for yourself:
Yes folks, that's right. George W. Bush gave his acceptance speech in front of...COLUMNS!!! Lots of columns. Who the hell does he think he is? Was he trying to evoke Martin Luther King Jr.? I'm beyond speechless. I mean, just look at the Greek temple-like set he spoke in front of:
What was he trying to do?? Look presidential or something? He had some nerve.
I can't believe that this disastrous move by Bush escaped me all these years. That's what I get for not watching the 2004 Republican convention. But now that this is all out in the open, I'm sure you'll all agree with me that this goes right to the top of George W. Bush's biggest blunders ever.
