Here's the latest from Rasmussen (cf. a survey taken a few days earlier):
Very favorable 31 (29)

Somewhat unfavorable 20 (17)
Very unfavorable 16 (9)
Favorable 52 (53)
Unfavorable 36 (26)
Other important features:
Regarding the perception of her ideology, Very conservative went from 37 to 45.
Right choice 39 (40)
Wrong choice 39 (32)
Ready to be president?
Yes 29 (29)
No 48 (44)
Interestingly, 60% of Republicans think that she is ready to be president. Presumably, they are the same people who might be voting against Obama because they think that he is unqualified. But the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska of course is qualified, because the Republicans elites tell them that she is. Only 16% think that she is not ready to be president.

People, this issue isn't going to take care if itself. In the echo-chamber of Daily Kos, this indeed sounds like a disastrous pick. We get all the negative information about her. However, keep in mind that there are many people who do not closely follow the news (and if they do, the media only partially covers what has been uncovered about her), and of those who do, there are many to whom she might appeal.
Do not get complacent, because that would be a disaster. The word has to get out about this lady and her extremist views.
