If we're going to write diary after diary attacking someone let's spend our time on McCain. After all, the faults of Palin shows the central line of attack we should target McCain on, i.e., his judgment.
John McCain wants to have a debate about who has the temperament, and judgment, to serve as the next commander in chief, that’s a debate I’m ready to have. ~Barack Obama
Does he have the temperament to lead? Of course not. No one gambles with the Vice Presidency. Lord knows who he'd make Secretary of War (err defense [Freudian slip?]). Let's target McCain. Palin is irrelevant if we win this election.

"Bob’s problem isn’t that he doesn’t get it; Bob’s problem is that he can’t sell it." ~American President
"It’s not because John McCain doesn’t care. It’s because John McCain doesn’t get it." ~ Barack Obama
Let's pound on McCain from now until November. Listen everyone Palin is a gimmick but what no one seems to realize is that Barack Obama gave one of the most powerful and effective speeches in the history of American politics last week. Instead of lauding Obama and continuing his attack on McCain, we are like a pack of wolves thrown off the scent by a red herring.
What have we failed to discuss this last week? How about the police state in Minnesota? We have overlooked the fact that Minnesota shows what happens to the country when the 4th amendment is treated with such disdain by this Republican administration.
Right to peaceably assemble? Ask members of Democracy Now!
Have I read one diary which mentioned the fact that we have a war criminal/lunatic in the oval office that threatens new clear war with Russia? Nope because Palin is the news now.
Have I seen a single diary about how Bush went into Pakistan to target terrorists, again following Obama's foreign policy? Nope, I've read 134,345,543,355,665,824,001 diaries on Palin.
This is beautiful for McCain. At some point all publicity is good publicity. How was he going to follow our convention and get any sort of attention? The RNC is a joke in comparison. Couple that with the hurricane and this Palin thing has given McCain/Palin tons of free attention/gag. Let's not help them out.
One final point. The Republican National Convention shows that they don't want to talk about the economy. In fact, their convention was completely about personality. We make this campaign all about the candidates and it hurts us. Let's make this campaign about the issues.
Americans are with us on Iraq, cutting taxes on the middle class and raising taxes on the rich, education, health care; let's pound the issues.
Hope this reaches some people.
Update: Obama just gave a Press Conference and mimicked my diary
