(First diary. And apologies to any pit bull owners out there. Sort of.)
Why would we want a pit bull with lipstick in our administration? Is that supposed to be some kind of endearing quality? Is that the kind of characteristic we want in our leadership?
And does anyone else find it very scary that a room full of people would stand up and cheer the idea?
Pit bulls are known for their overly aggressive and uncontrollable behavior. They can be mean and dangerous. Vicious and vindictive. They have strong, unstable temperaments.
Many owners of pit bulls will swear up and down that their dog is very loving, and would never attack anyone. Be careful. They are nice dogs, until you see one in a park killing another dog while wagging its tail. They don’t growl or give you an aggressive facial expression as warning, they just attack. Then they’ll bite, hold, shake, and tear you apart.
If anything goes wrong in the socializing, training, handling or management of this breed, the pit bull is capable of seriously injuring. When they get loose, they run with others like them. They are overcome with pack mentality, attacking without stopping to think what is the right or responsible thing to do.
Pit bulls are potentially so dangerous that banned in certain areas and cities. Many insurers consider pit bulls as a higher risk for a claim and will often charge higher home insurance rates for their owners.
So why in the world is being a pit bull with lipstick something that a potential President of the United States would be proud of comparing herself to?
Is this who we want a heartbeat away from the presidency? Not me.
