I'm just so damn worried about these numbers coming out of the national tracking polls. I hope you guys don't mind if I share some of my concern with you.
I'm worried because this a national election as opposed to 50 individual state elections.
I'm worried because this entire time the Obama campaign has been executing a national campaign and blanketing the entire country with ads as opposed to zeroing in on key states.
I'm worried because Obama was never behind Hillary in the national tracking polls.
I'm worried because McCain has gone up in the polling without any event to explain it, like a convention. I'm doubly worried because Obama got no bump out of his convention.
I'm worried because a large Obama lead in the national tracking polls makes me feel comfortable and I don't want anyone telling me that I have to fight for my future.
I'm worried because the McCain campaign has the most intimidating volunteer army, ground game, grass roots funding, and enthusiasm in any Presidential campaign in American history.
I'm worried because these polls use demographic models based on 2004 and 2000 without showing increases in African American turnout, and I'm sure there's no reason for African Americans to have increased turn out this cycle.
I'm worried because the economy is so great and the war in Iraq successfully ended last year, so people will not vote on the issues.
I'm worried because our only pickup opportunities are Michigan and New Hampshire, while we have to defend Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, New Mexico, Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana and Iowa.
But above all, I'm worried because I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about.
