WHAT JOHN McCAIN HAS TO SAY FOR HIMSELF
Keeping in mind that our opponent is John McCain, let America listen to him in his own words! Help everyone you know get to know the man who changes his mind easily in pursuit of his personal political ambition.
"McCain's YouTube Problem Just Became a Nightmare"
When it launched on May 18, 2008, this video received over 1 million views in three days. It has now received over 4 million ... and counting. Can we push that to over 5 million?
"john.he.is"
Will.I.Am produced the inspiring Yes We Can - Barack Obama Music Video. It seems only fitting that John McCain have a similar video, embracing his words ... but, I don't think this is quite what the McCain campaign wanted to see. Viewed over 1,800,000 times, can we get it over the 2 million mark?
John McCain: No, You Can't
Another way of looking at Will.I.Am's Yes We Can - Barack Obama Music Video is to ask, if Barack Obama says "Yes We Can" then what is John McCain saying?
"John McCain vs. John McCain"
Considering all the attacks he endured in 2004 for having been for the war before he was against it, it must have been gratifying for Senator John Kerry to appear at the Democratic National Convention and be able to say, "Are you kidding me, folks? Talk about being for it before you're against it. Let me tell you. Before he ever debates Barack Obama, John McCain should finish the debate with himself."
This video was posted in January 2007, but has garnered a little less than a million views. Let's get it out there for people to see! It shows McCain debating McCain! Do you think he's taken Kerry's advice and finished those debates with himself yet?

WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY ABOUT JOHN McCAIN
There you have five videos of McCain speaking for himself that will help people get to know the real John McCain. The John McCain who can't make up his mind. The John McCain that says something, and three days later says the complete opposite. Like fellow Republican Rita Hauser, who helped start Republicans for Obama described him:
Some of those who know McCain best — Republicans — are tougher on him than the press is. Rita Hauser, who was a Bush financial chairwoman in New York in 2000 and served on the Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board in the administration’s first term, joined other players in the G.O.P. establishment in forming Republicans for Obama last week. Why? The leadership qualities she admires in Obama — temperament, sustained judgment, the ability to play well with others — are missing in McCain. "He doesn’t listen carefully to people and make reasoned judgments," Hauser told me. "If John says ‘I’m going with so and so,’ you can’t count on that the next morning," she complained, adding, "That’s not the man we want for president."

Senator Boxer on McCain's Temper Tantrums!
Have you heard the news that McCain has a problem controlling his temper? Before they were for McCain, the College Conservative Movement created a list of John McCain's Top Ten Temper Explosions. And here we have a video of McCain's Senate-colleague Barbara Boxer reacting to Senator Kay Baily Hutchinson claiming that everybody has a temper.
There's another longer version of this video with what happens before this part, but it has been blocked from imbeding so you'll have to click the link to see it:

General Wesley Clark Comments on John McCain's Presidential Qualifications
General Wesley Clark appeared on CBS's Face the Nation and questioned John McCain's qualifications to be President, saying "Well, I don't think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be President" (General Wesley Clark on CBS's Face the Nation with Bob Shieffer).
Phillip Butler (Former P.O.W. with John McCain): Why I Won't Vote for John McCain
You may have already seen Phillip Butler's opinion piece, Why I Will Not Vote for John McCain, when it appeared online in March.
As some of you might know, John McCain is a long-time acquaintance of mine that goes way back to our time together at the U.S. Naval Academy and as Prisoners of War in Vietnam. He is a man I respect and admire in some ways. But there are a number of reasons why I will not vote for him for President of the United States.
Why I Will Not Vote for John McCain by Phillip Butler
Now watch and listen to him tell us why he will not vote for McCain:
Note: There is also a much longer version of Phillip Butler discussing this subject: Former POW says McCain is "not cut out to be President" .

AND FINALLY, JOHN McCAIN = GEORGE W. BUSH = McSAME or McBUSH
What would a collection of John McCain videos be without an example of John McCain sounding like and marching in lockstep with George W. Bush?

A CALL TO ACTION
So, let's help people get to know the real McCain. You may have a favorite McCain vs. McCain video. Or a video of somebody who has worked closely with McCain talking about why McCain would make a terrible President. If I missed one that you know about, please post it in the comments. Please don't post just any videos about McCain. Please post videos that specifically demonstrate that McCain exercises poor judgment. I know it's hard, but posting videos to share that just make fun of him, don't help with the point of this call to action. Believe me, while looking through the videos at YouTube, I saw some hilarious ones that I thought about including, but realized that they only distract from the mission.
And, please, please, please, let's try to keep mentioning that woman who's been seen on stage with McCain lately to a minimum. Only mention her if it relates to McCain's poor decision making skills like when he selected her as his running mate. If you feel you must talk about her and her many scandals, extensively, please do it in one of the several hundred other diaries written here today that are all about her. This campaign is about McCain v. Obama for President, and the object of this exercise is to show why John McCain does not have the good judgment to be the next President. Yes, chances are she could be president any time after January if McCain were to win the election, but the point is to make sure that John McCain, the actual Republican candidate for president, is not the one elected making discussions of what could happen after January moot.

LET'S ALWAYS TAKE THE HIGH ROAD!
For the last several months I've been bombarded with anti-Obama emails from my Republican father. I have spent hours searching google, factcheck.org and snopes.com for rebuttal to the false claims made in those emails. Finally, I told my father, "Every time you send me an email about Obama that is full of lies, I'm going to donate $25 to the Obama campaign." While the emails did not stop completely, they slowed down considerably. From that point on, I was true to my word. I donated $25 to the Obama campaign, and forwarded a copy of the "thank you" email from Obama to my father. Often, I also entered his email address in that screen that comes up after you make a donation, inviting him to donate to the campaign. Finally, I always found the information on the Internet that disproves the false claims in the email and send the quotes and links back to my father.
What this repeated exercise has taught me is that those who would try to dissuade people from voting for Obama use lies and smears that are easily disproved. We don't have to do that. The truth speaks for itself, and John McCain speaking his own version of truth, and changing it to suit his political goals, speaks volumes. When you send somebody information that is true, where can they go to disprove facts?
