The 2008 Value Voters Summit, sponsored by the Family Research Council, includes an exhibitor who is selling boxed waffle batter that features Obama in the guise of Little Black Sambo on the front and Osama Bin Laden on the back of the package.
To complete the picture, there is also of course the Aunt Jemima/Uncle Ben food-related signal. I'm betting the package designer is kicking himself for having left out Buckwheat and that inexplicable little guy in the red jacket at the end of certain driveways.
Here's another shot of the box:
If you're having trouble reading this one, it's because no photos were permitted inside the premises (family values is a hush-hush subject, dontcha know), but an intrepid Rawstory reporter was able to surreptitiously snap at least these.
The red arrow next the image of Obama with a turban reads "Point box toward Mecca for tastier waffles".
Republican flag bearers Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are among the guest speakers, as is Lou Dobbs, who actually purchased some of the waffle batter: "My wife will love this!", Dobbs is reported to have said.
A photo of Dobbs posing with the product has been pulled since the story was published on Saturday.
I won't comment any further on this - there are, after all, no words - except to provide a list of some of the guest speakers, which includes active and former US Congresspersons, a governor, prominent media figures and, of course, numerous 'moral authorities'.
