I am just a low income observer of all that is going on with the Wall Street "meltdown". I listened yesterday to the pundit's chatter, read everything I know of on the Net, read some newspaper reports, and even discussed this with a economics doctorate friend who thinks I am one of his "guinea pigs" as far as seeing how the economy affects my family and me as ones on the bottom of the barrel. I have come out wondering what the HELL our Democrats, Chris Dodd and Charles Schumer, talking about when they practically want to hand over the keys to this administration and give away all of our legislative powers to them. I did hear some weak fist pounding by Mr Schumer about not "giving away the keys" but we have seen how these folks fold and have given them away with FISA, Indictments ans Impeachments with treasonous actions by this administration, and on and on. What the HELL are they DOING?

I mean, really. Haven't these men read Naomi Klein's The Shock Doctrine? Don't they realize the coup is about to happen? what really bothers me was the argument that "the rest of the world" might hurt along with the American people.
Ok. While I think Americans need to come first and I don't want there to be a worldwide depression, still...I am hearing here that we Americans don't matter as much, WEEELLL now that the entire world market is involved, now we'd better start getting the papers ready to sign. Well what about us the taxpayers being expected to bail out these elitist entitles who thought Welfare Reform, only 3% of the budget at the time, was "socialism" while buying the institutions they made into junk so they can keep their riches costing us thousands of times more, is not???
Look Legislators wherever you are ...when are you going to learn? They called these meetings before and told us we had WMDs too. Even though little people like me saw the truth, unfortunately as the supposed "insiders", you did not. Keeping your eyes anywhere but on reality, you never saw us, hundreds of thousands all over this country in harmony with millions over the world on March 17, 2003, we were marching against this war before the first bomb was dropped. We KNEW!
Why not listen to us now? We The People might see some stuff you do not. You believed the hype then, and while anyone was told we were treasonous if we didn't buy that crap, buying those lies did little good. It launched us into the biggest boondoggle and made our administration such war criminals the Hague is not telling them not to leave the country or they might experience they imposed on others by getting snatched from the street.
At out expense the Iraq war is costing the lives thousands of our men and women and millions of Iraqi innocents. 10 freaking BILLION dollars a month going to no protection for our service people, and to no-bid contractors who are not even delivering the services they are paid to do.
Listen to us. This meeting on Friday is another bid to grab power and enrich themseves as they bail out to places like Paraguay before the torches and pitchforks come out.
Most of all, in the next few years as the fallout manifests itself into massive unemployment, homelessness,and the American people are bent in weariness expected to support and pay for the shenanigans of the elite, please, PLEASE remember the Declaration of Independence signed by our fore bearers like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and George Washington at the peril of their lives, they believed it so deeply.
