So it's a short diary, but I just have to say...
I was catching a bus home along my normal route and saw a bunch of bright lights ahead of me. If I had to guess I would have said it was a spaceship.
But no.
I get a little closer and start to see that theres a horde of news vans littering the sides of the streets. I realize the lights are from the cameras, and there's a large group of people gathering on the sidewalks. Then I hear the chants..
Obama!! Obama!!
(tiny tidbits below the fold)
So then I see the signs.
The Alaska Disasta! McSame! Workers for Obama!
I go up to some smiling girl with a McSame sign and ask her what's up. Turns out my bus stop is right next to a Pub in Philadelphia that Sarah Palin is supposed to watch the debate from. About a hundred people had gathered by 7pm and I expect that number will grow by 9pm. Unfortunately, my camera phone is dead and I can't post any pictures, but I just had to let you guys know how impressive it was to see that many people had already gathered to voice their displeasure with this puppet VP.
So sit back, relax, whatch-um some debatin', and remember there are some people out there that are braving some chilly and drizzly weather to show just what they think of this hyped-up choice for a Vice President.
