Okay, Kossacks:
We've been summoned by the Barack to debate parties. You're gathered in homes and halls, ready to listen to the debates. And, this being 2008 and all, you're also reading Daily Kos and other blogs while you watch.
Okay, listen up you all. This little town of Goshen, Indiana is challenging you to beat us in raising debate bucks for Obama. You ready to take the challenge? Below the fold.
Here's who we are in Goshen. We're a city of about 25,000 in the North Central part of Indiana. A red state. For senators we have Lugar, "Could be worse for a Republican," and Bayh, "Could be worse but why couldn't we get a real democrat?" Our representative is Mark Souder. Nuff said.
So we're gathered together, this hardy band of Obama supporters, in our downtown office, watching the debate.
And we have a challenge to raise $1000 in donations to Obama during this debate.
Maybe we'll donate $50 for every time McCain says "POW."
Maybe we'll donate $50 for every time Obama nicks Palin.
Whatever.
We're going to raise $1000 for Obama in this red town during this debate!
You think you can beat us, there on the coasts, in your big cities, in your own small towns?
Okay, start pledging.
We'll let you know when we hit $1000. If you hit if first, post that in the comment section.
Let's see how far we get in the next 90 minutes.
