I would encourage Howard Dean and the Dems to develop talking points for the interviews they give to the media. These should point out the administration's falsehoods at every turn. If you keep the obvious in front of the population, it may finally sink in. For example, in reply to a hypothetical question about anything military, their response could be, "Well, since we find ourselves in a conflict which our country was lied into..." or "As the President and others has mislead us into an illegal war..." You know, if the Dems would just look at what their opponents have done, and speak more truthfully when applying the same tactics, they would probably find themselves more of a factor in politics today.
Also, a suggestion to Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Al Gore, Bill Moyers and such. Get together men and remind Americans what America is all about. You guys have more means than most of us making noise out here. I think that a media outlet that catered to the principles of Repulican Government and participatory democracy would do very well in this climate if you made it interesting. Let us remember these words...
"that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth." Abraham Lincoln 1863
It appears that that form of Government is struggling at the present.
