I really like the basics of Clark's progressive tax plan. I think that it makes a lot of sense. I don't think that it will pass, because it is, you know, progressive, but we have to shoot for the moon.
But what I really like was his speech. He showed a command for the domestic issue at hand more than any other time I have seen or read his comments. He didn't use military metaphors, and didn't spend ¾'s of the speech talking about the Army instead of the plan.
I am still not really a Clark fan, but I am glad to see his candidacy coming together. If he wins, then I feel a lot more confidant that he is ready for battle against Bush. And if he loses then we will have a nominee that beat out a worthy opponent who was not only skilled at the issues, but on the presentation thereof.
