It is unbelievable and unforgivable that after all the rewrites, add-ons, and 'sweeteners,' the bailout bill (yes, the word is 'bailout') still ignores those who were taken advantage of by the sub-prime swindlers and still face foreclosure. Meanwhile, the swindlers and their associates stand to receive an additional $700 billion by compounding their special interests through their DC operatives: our elected 'representatives.' And they are satisfied. To the point that they have no desire or ability to pass on the dark secrets of self-interest to others. It would be contrary to their highest and founding ideal, everything they know, everything that got them to the top of the pyramid. Perhaps that, in the end, is the ultimate price tag for seeing their unleashed capitalist belief system come to fruition. That after the final penny is pilfered, the whole system that made the great silent heist possible must simply, even willingly, go away.
