Richard Clarke--famous and well regarded anti-terrorism expert--writes today that Al Qaeda prefers McCain to Obama and may try to act to change the outcome of the election. See Today's US News Article. According to Clarke, "Al Qaeda would not like it if there were a popular American president again", and Obama is likely to be a popular US President at home and around the world.
The Republican hawks and chicken hawks who think that McCain will make the US safer, should reconsider their poorly thought out mantra.
Our enemies prefer McCain? America's enemies know what many democrats know. The best chance for America's security--both economically and militarilly--is with an Obama presidency. America's enemies want to hurt America, and they believe the best way to do that is to try to stop Obama from being elected.
Vote Obama.
I can only hope and pray that Obama's clear superiority on national security issues gets better highlighted. This should be a wake up call for those who keep thinking that McCain would be superior to Obama on national security issues.
