I'm missing a lot of what Palin is saying because Trapper John is drowning her out with his ranting.
In any case, you can see Palin progressively falling back onto the tactics laid out by Kagro X: memorized focus group-tested talking points, knocking the level of the discussion down to where she can handle it as she redefines questions, resorting to highly personalized terms. The actual content is falling out of her answers, to the extent it was ever there, but there are still a lot of words that sound flashy, and again, unlike in her Couric interviews, she's speaking in something that sounds like sentences.
Palin: "We have got to win in Iraq....It would be a travesty if we quit now in Iraq."
[Ed: Wow.]
Biden: "With all due respect, I didn't hear a plan."
[Ed. Hear hear!]
Palin: "Your plan is a white flag of surrender in Iraq."
[Ed: Speechless. She did not go there! Going straight for the base, and no one but the base.]
