With a month to go, Sarah Palin is going to have to do more interviews. Surely she will do one or two of the Sunday morning shows before November 4th. She hasn't been asked all the questions yet, and considering she was a virtual unknown a mere 2 months ago, I think there are some pretty important questions she hasn't been asked.
Does Sarah Palin believe in witches? Does she support the actions of her witch hunting pastor? Why are Rev. Wright clips being played over and over and over on Fixed News while Sarah Palin's loony friends are getting a free pass? Does she believe dinosaurs and people co-existed 4000 years ago?
We've all seen the tape where the Kenyan witch hunter blesses her and protects her from "all forms of witchcraft". Does Sarah Palin support the way this guy harms people? We spent week after week seeing Jeremiah Wright thrown under a bus and taken out of context and the sound bytes looped over and over and over. With the Republican ticket on the decline, the far right will make sure we see more of Rev. Wright. It will air on Fox News again. Obama's religion has been put under a microscope. So if they are going to criticize Barack Obama's church, why can't that same level of attention be given to Sarah Palin's witch hunting pastor? Rev. Wright is simply preaching to a group of people about issues that concern their lives and their community. Sometimes he takes his language a little far, but he is not harming anyone. The witch hunter has taken part in violent witch hunts and rallied mobs against his targets.
Someone needs to ask Sarah Palin if she believes in witches, and if she supports the actions of her witch hunting pastor. She needs to seperate herself from this the same way Obama was forced to seperate himself from Rev. Wright. I have yet to see anyone in the media confront her on this.
Another issue that has been largely ignored by the media, is her creationist views. If she wants to have the second-most powerful position in the country, I feel like we have a right to know whether or not she believes humans and dinosaurs co-existed as early as 4000 years ago? Anyone who would have that kind of fundamentalist loony opinion has no business being Vice President of the United States. Someone in the media needs to confront her on this issue.
This isn't "gotcha journalism", these are legit questions about legit concerns, and the American people deserve to know the truth. Her caretakers are doing her a huge disservice keeping her on such a short leash and quite frankly, its sexist.
