Well I was dying to see the new religulous movie by Bill Maher. Problem was when I went to look for showtimes no local theatre in Tampa had the movie. I was so steamed. I then saw that the local theatres did have that wanna be funny An American Carol.
This is why I could not wait till the final figures came out on which movie made more. An American Carol had tons of advertising and even had billo the clown in it. Well when I looked up the box office gross I was surprised.

Notice that An American Carol only beat out Religulous by 247,000 dollars thats not that much. And also to point out religulous didnt even play in nearly as many theatres. Both movies only made 3.5 million which is really low. I guess this shows Americans really do not wanna see political satires. I just wonder how "W" will do
