We have all watched Massa run for Congress both this cycle and last. The end to the last race was heartbreaking, so close. But as you all know Massa's back. And now that Randy Kuhl has decided to play with words and say that Massa supports Massive tax increases, well we should just go with it. I say lets make Massa Massive. The DCCC is. Their throwing a ton of money at the district. Health Care for America is. Their placing a good ad buy in the district. Its all working, we are up in the polls. But things can change and we need every bit of help that you can give to make sure we pull this out. But what can you do?
Volunteer or give money and as usual Massa and every candidate needs money, more money. Everyone will be happy after November fourth when no one is asking for money every three and a half seconds but we will not be happy if some of the races don't win because not every body dug as deep as they could to really support a candidate. My candidate is Eric Massa. I'm working on his Campaign.
But maybe your wondering where this money is all going. Campaigns seem like great giant beasts gathering into their maw as much money as they can but don't seem to show as much visibly as it seems they could.
Here are some of ads we have worked on.
Health Care for America is running this ad
another new ad. We all love the old lady.
I primarily work on the field staff. I run around canvassing individuals much as many of you have done. The amount gas to run around a district as large as the 29th is impressive. And the money to make and run all of the ads that are necessary to run when Randy Kuhl won't enter into the ten debates that both Eric and Randy were invited to and the fact that district is split into four media markets is also impressive, nay massive.
As a field staff member I can tell you that many people in this district are tired of Randy Kuhl. He is a Bush Bot. A rubber stamper. A guy who was named by Maxim as one of the top partiers in congress. I like a party as much as the next guy but their is a time for parties and a time for work and now is the time for work.
Eric Massa will work for the NY's 29th District. He will work for all of us as a progressive member of congress. I'm from South Carolina but felt impressed by Eric enough to come up here and work on the campaign. I hope that some of you will do so for Eric or for who ever you feel the need to support.
We have enough money to go through the middle of the month. To be able to continue to run ads we are trying to raise $400,000 till the eve of election day. I hope you can help. But help your candidate. These are hard economic times and many of us are hurting. I know my bank account isn't very stuffed. But we can all work harder and now in this final push, please volunteer, send money, talk to your neighbors. We can all make it so that congress has more progressive members. Eric Massa is in this group. There are many others.
Give to Eric
